Description
For Honda with 2-pin connector
On many new Honda models, position lights are integrated into the turn signals as standard, with the front turn signals lighting up permanently and acting as position lights. This type of position light is a legal configuration, with all recent Honda models having been homologated and approved with this configuration. Since 2016, a European law has authorized this practice.
If the original permanent indicators are replaced by 2in1 indicators, the front indicators light up permanently with reduced intensity. This does not comply with European regulations for 2in1 combination lamps, comprising a white position light and a yellow blinker.
With HIGHSIDER BL CONTROL-BOX CB4, there's a solution to this problem. The HIGHSIDER BL CONTROL-BOX CB4 converts the output signal from the 2-pin OEM plug of the flasher/marker light, so that approved 2-in-1 indicators can be fitted. It converts the signal coming from the vehicle and splits it into a separate signal for the turn signals and position lights. This means that turn signals no longer fade to yellow. In addition, the position lights go out during flashing and come back on after flashing (with a slight delay). Optional: After leaving the motorcycle, the position light stays on for a while and then goes off automatically thanks to the "coming home" option.
