Technical specifications: Machining: One-piece forged Wheelbase: 108 mm Offset: 22.5 mm Pistons: 4 aluminum diam. 34 mm Dust seal: YES Pads: 4 pads code AGPA134 Included Available compounds: - ORGANIC for longer-lasting performance and limited disc wear - FRITTED to guarantee a consistently high coefficient of friction at high and low temperatures and on wet sol - ZXC ceramic compound ideal for racing use. Finish: the caliper can be anodized or painted in a choice of colors. Use: racing and road use. Features: The Accossato radial caliper is manufactured using the most advanced technology and the best materials on the market. The shape of the caliper was created through complex CAD studies, to ensure the lowest possible weight, the optimum level of body rigidity and the best ability to dissipate the heat generated by braking. During mechanical processing, the caliper body is 100% controlled by three-dimensional laboratory machines; in the next phase, the product is oxidized thanks to a specific hard oxide treatment, which gives it lasting resistance over time. The stirrup can be chrome-plated, black-oxidized or hard-oxidized. This is the top-of-the-range caliper, recommended for racing use. 4 Reasons to choose a brake caliper Accossato: 1- Aesthetics: because in Accossato radial calipers, every aesthetic detail minimum is taken care of 2- Range offered: wide choice of models with different colors and wheelbases 3- "Made in Italy" quality: tous radial calipers are made in Italie. Every component has been designed to guarantee maximum braking performance 4- Inspection: before being assembled and put on the market, tous Accossato radial calipers are 100% checked and tested Warranty and Inspection: The warranty is valid for a period of 24 months from the invoice date. Each caliper is assigned a serial number, making it individually identifiable from tous autres radial calipers. Removal of the serial number will result in loss of warranty and support. The caliper is serviced in-house by Accossato technicians within one working week of receipt of the radial caliper. The inspection includes: external inspection of the product, disassembly of the caliper from all its parts, visual microscopic inspection of each caliper component, visual inspection of the inner body of the caliper, replacement of seals, assembly of all parts, static test and dynamic test. Replaced parts are scrapped, and from the time of overhaul, the caliper acquires an additional 12 months' warranty, on presentation of the invoice. An additional overhaul (the second) does not extend the product warranty. The overhaul does not include the replacement ofautres external parts not mentioned. In the event of a fall, the overhaul is carried out only when the essential conditions are identified for the caliper to be able to function again in optimum conditions, equal to a new caliper. FAQ What to do in the event of a fall As the radial caliper is a safety component, it is absolutely inadvisable to attempt to resume driving after a fall, especially if caliper malfunctions are observed or suspected. Are Accossato caliper overhaul kits available? There is an official overhaul kit Accossato which can be purchased freely. If unofficial products are installed, the caliper immediately loses its warranty. What brake fluid should I use? Accossato recommends the use of Accossato Racing DOT 4 brake fluid, as it is specially designed for use by the most demanding customers, who require maximum performance from their braking system. The technicians at Accossato recommend paying particular attention to the use of the different brake fluids on the market. Be particularly careful when using DOT 5.1 with point high boiling point: this fluid must be removed from the braking system immediately after the race and/or used only once. Failure to remove this fluid from the system immediately may damage brake system seals. How far should I close the bleed screw after bleeding? Accossato recommends closing the bleed screw with a torque wrench to 8-10 Nm. Any attempt to close the bleed screw by hand, without measuring the torque, is not recommended. After bleeding and closing the bleed screw, blow compressed air around the screw to release the oil trapped in the thread crests and in the 3mm-diameter center hole.
