The main feature of all Polini HI-SPEED variators is the innovative patented lubrication system, but there are many technical characteristics that distinguish this Polini Maxi HI-Speed variator for Honda SH 125/150 E5.

The piston pin is made of nickel-chromed steel and features a very low coefficient of friction: it stands out for the carbon-based DLC treatment with innovative technology specifically for racing and aeronautical applications, designed for sliding components subject to high wear.

The large-capacity inner housing of the piston pin acts as a grease reservoir: a special spring inside ensures constant grease distribution on the canon, even in the most difficult operating conditions.

With this new technology, efficiency remains constant and it is no longer necessary to modify the roller setting to obtain the best performance.

The drive comes complete with a Evo Slider thrust spring with a preload 15% higher than that oforigine, which increases the motor's rotation speed on starts.

The rollers are covered by a new material mix of nylon and aramid fibers.

The kit also includes clutch springs with 20% higher load to increase clutch engagement.
