Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on track, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as assembly instructions; each silencer has the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without a headlight and without a number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the changed gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the purchase date, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard repair time.
