Removable dbkillers? Altering dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and to seek immediate information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available online.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlights, and without license plate holders or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of warranty on the product. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
