Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. The use of the open version on roads does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder, or other parts that could interfere with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the purchase date, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to re-install the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
