Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only allowed for RACING use on circuits. The use of the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installation.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the bike as if on track only, without luggage, flashlight, or license plate holder or other parts that might conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the purchase date, with repair rights returning to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
