Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the original catalytic converter or GPR catalytic converter is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided along with the assembly instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? Yes.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. This is from the date of purchase, with the right to repair returning to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one for repair; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
