Removable db killers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst, or removing the security screws or fixture is illegal for road use and not in compliance with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with the regulations for public road traffic.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it is recommended to buy the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items suitable for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike only as on the track, without luggage, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
