The SM7 helmet is designed for off-road racing, combining shock protection and comfort.

The composite construction of the outer shell is lightweight and durable.

The aerodynamic profile of the outer shell is designed to reduce friction upon impact, allowing for the most efficient deflection and energy transfer to protect the rider's head from direct forces, referring to the neck and spine.

With 20 individual intake and exhaust ports, excluding the eye port, with 13 inlets and 8 outlets, this helmet is ultra-ventilated.

The patented visor release system is designed to automatically detach the visor from the shell when subjected to impact energy greater than 15 joules for optimal shock protection, regardless of direction.

The Alpinestars patented Plasma technology is strategically integrated into the side pads of the SM7 for high-performance shock absorption in critical areas to significantly reduce the risk of injury.

The liners are removable and washable.

The cheek pads are made of 3D foam, featuring an emergency removal system (ERS), with a channel for hydration tube installation. The cheek pads are interchangeable across all sizes.

The crown pad and neck roll are elastically connected for better management of oblique impacts.

The top pad is removable and height-adjustable thanks to the A-head system.

The chin strap features a 25 mm wide nylon strap, stainless steel D-rings, and removable covers for washing.

The shell size solution ensures that each helmet size has its own appropriately sized shell to provide the best anatomical fit.

Three different helmet shell sizes M, L, and XL, and 6 sizes for consumers from XS to XXL to ensure a good fit. Enhancing comfort, the helmet's effectiveness during an impact and reducing overall weight.

The fit can be further personalised with authentic Alpinestars replacement cheek pads available in all thicknesses and interchangeable across all shell sizes.

Both sides feature integrated channels to accommodate a hydration system.

The communication system is compatible thanks to a cut-out section on the left side of the EPS to effortlessly accommodate intercom systems, with cutouts for speakers on both sides.
