The MX-V has been developed from the legendary VX-3, and Arai's years of experience in competition are reflected in its ultimate helmet for MX, enduro and off-road use. And while helmet appearance trends come and go quickly, Arai's R75 organic shell design exists for the same reasons as all Arai helmets: to create a smooth, round shell shape that maintains full strength.

The absence of sharp edges or exaggerated protrusions is not a lack of imagination or creativity on Arai's part. It's because the shape of the helmet works to improve protection. This is also why the MX-V is the latest Arai to receive ECE R22-06 certification without significant changes.

It starts with a robust outer shell: the PB-CLC2 outer shell is made using special Z mixed resins, and it is balanced by a lightweight inner liner for reduced overall weight.

When riding hard off-road, ventilation truly matters, and the MX-V's front and rear vents work together to channel fresh air throughout the helmet. The nose guard also directs airflow with a design that reduces lift. The interior is also fully removable, easy to wash, and adjustable.
