The Quad Lock MAG™ universal adapter features our compatible secure locking mechanism with all Quad Lock mounts and can be glued directly to phones, cases and most flat metal or plastic surfaces.

With a thickness of just 5.3 mm, the Quad Lock MAG™ universal adapter fits perfectly on the back of smartphones and cases.

The Quad Lock MAG™ universal adapter is compatible with Quad Lock MAG™ standard heads and Quad Lock® Original twist-lock mounts.

Surface guide:
The Quad Lock universal adapter uses an adhesive 3M™ VHB 4952 that adheres to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:
- Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, nylon and acrylic.
- Unpainted metals
- Uncoated glass
The adhesive will not adhere to the following substrates:
- Rubber, TPU, TPE
- Leather
- Silicone
- Hydrophobic-coated glass (also known as nom anti-fingerprint glass, found on the back of most modern smartphones)
- Soft-touch coating or paint
- Low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal and HDPE.
- Wood
- We strongly recommend using a shell with the universal adapter if your phone has a glass back.
Please ensure that the backing is perfectly clean and dry before applying the universal adapter.
The 3M™ VHB™ is a single-use adhesive and is not reusable.
