ProTaper 's revolutionary Autonomous Launch Control (SELA) solves a problem faced by all motocross racers, regardless of skill level: setting up a starting device alone is clumsy at best and impossible at worst. With its patent-pending, self-engaging rotary dial, SELA can be easily adjusted without any assistance, giving riders the freedom to practice starts and line up for races on their own.When starting, SELA temporarily compresses the bike's front suspension, reducing its tendency to wheelie under acceleration. This optimizes rear wheel traction, allowing the rider to be more aggressive with the throttle and launch the bike down the straightaway with greater control.The unique, modular design allows SELA to be installed on most of the latest generation of full-size motocross bikes.
